from the pool wall.

B. Slowly unscrew the Vent Screw (23) from the Top Cover (5) to allow the filter system to depressurize.

C. Unlock the Top Cover Retainer (4) by turning counter-clockwise. Remove the Top Cover (5).

D. Loosen the Hose Clamps (26) to remove the Water Hoses (11, 12) and allow water to drain out.

E. Clean and dry all UV Sanitizer parts.

F. Liberally lubricate the O-rings (20, 22) at the Top Cover (5) on the Vent Screw (23) with petroleum jelly, and then

reassemble it along with the Top Cover (5), Vent Screw (23), Top Cover Retainer (4) onto the Main Housing (19).

1. UV SANITIZER INSTALLATION: (Refer to Page 3, 4; Fig. 1, 2, 3)

WARNING -

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!

• Risk of electrical shock, connect only to a grounding type receptacle protected by a ground fault circuit

interrupter, (GFCI). Contact a qualified electrician if you cannot verify that the receptacle is protected by
a GFCI.

• Receptacle must be at least 10 feet away from pool.
• Do not use an extension cord to connect unit to electric supply; provide a properly located outlet.
• Do not bury the cord.

NOTE -

 The UV Sanitizer consists of:  UV Sanitizer; Power Adapter; Hardware Bag (Hose Adapters, Hose Clamps);

and Water Hoses.

The UV Sanitizer can be used with Skimmer Pump (Fig.1) or RP Pump (Fig. 2) filter system.
A. Remove all parts from the packaging box.
B. Make sure to switch off your swimming pool pump before connecting the UV Sanitizer to your pool.
C. Unscrew the Vent Screw (23) from the Top Cover (5).  Get the Water Hoses (11, 12), and remove four Hose Clamps

(26) from the hardware bag.  Loosen the Hose Clamp Screws (25) and slide the Hose Clamps (26) over one end of
each hose. Lubricate the O-rings (1, 22) on the Return Fitting Elbow (2) and the Vent Screw (23) liberally with
petroleum jelly.

D. Install the Water Hoses (11, 12) on each of the Return Fitting Elbow (2) on the UV Sanitizer. Tighten both of the

Hose Clamps (26). Remove the Water Hose which connects your existing pump outlet to the water return fitting
on the pool wall. Install the Water Hose (IN) (11) on the UV Sanitizer to the the pump outlet and tighten it with
the Hose Clamp (26).  Install the Water Hose (OUT) (12) on the UV Sanitizer to the water return fitting on the pool
wall and tighten it with the Hose Clamp (26).

E. Unscrew the Vent Screw (23) from the Top Cover (5) about 2 turns.  NOTE: VENTING THE SYSTEM IS NECESSARY

FOR AIR TO ESCAPE AS THE UV SANITIZER FILLS WITH WATER.

G. Start the swimming pool pump to allow water pumping into the UV Sanitizer. When the UV Sanitizer is full, water

should be coming out of the groove of the Vent Screw (23).  Hand-tighten the Vent Screw into the Top Cover (5)
until the O-Ring (22) seals around the Vent Screw (23) and no more water is escaping. Check to ensure no
leakage at the Top Cover Retainer (4) and the Return Fitting Elbows (2), tighten them if necessary.

H. Press the Power Switch on the UV Sanitizer to start the sanitizing system for the swimming pool.

F. Connect the pins of the Extension Cord (17) from the UV Sanitizer to the Power Adapter (18). Tighten the screw

nut on the Extension Cord with the Power Adapter. Plug-in the Power Adapter to the power socket.
