When switching between Performance and Pattern screens, the effect affected tracks
indicators are getting back to default/off (this prevents unexpected things to happen
when playing live).
The Pattern Length effect will apply to the length of every track, no matter if they are
selected or not.

Custom Play Mode Performance Fx

is offering an automatic way of remixing your

existing patterns by using predefined algorithmic shuffle play mode of the existing
steps.
The transport bar shows a custom Performance icon to let you know the performance
pattern is playing with your chosen effects.
When switching from the Song mode to Perform mode, the currently played pattern is
looped and a “random” indicator icon is displayed on the screen header. This way the
Performance mode indicates that tracks from different patterns can be mixed together.
Switch back to the Song screen and press

Continue song

 to resume playing the entire

song.

Pattern tracks remixing

Performance mode is also a convenient and powerful tool to make breakdowns, add live on-
the-fly changes to patterns in a Song mode, or even

remix

 entire tracks.

On the bottom of the Performance mode screen – find 8 buttons indicating the pattern
number for each track. Selecting the corresponding screen key applies the chosen punch-in
effects to this particular track. But thereʼs one more function here which allows you to mix
and play different tracks from any of the previously created patterns.

To switch the track pattern, get out from the Edit mode, then hold the desired screen key
and use up/down arrow keys.

In the Performance mode, the particular pattern tracks are being changed by holding one or
more screen track buttons and using:

Left/right arrows for a

sequential

change – patterns change after the currently playing

pattern phrase reaches its end (pattern number will blink red),
Up/down arrows and Jog wheel for an

immediate

 pattern change.
