Entering Information Using the Dialpad
You can use the dialpad on the Poly Rove wireless handsets to enter and edit information in text or
numerical fields.
The following table describes how to enter different types of information.
Using the Dialpad to Enter Information
Task
Action
Enter uppercase or lowercase letters
The wireless handset automatically adjusts for
uppercase and lowercase letters.
Enter numbers in text fields
Repeatedly press a key on the dialpad until you get the
number for that key.
Enter a space
Press the
0
key.
You can only enter a space in a text field.
Enter special characters
Press the
!#?
soft key.
You can only enter special characters in a text field.
Delete characters
Use the arrow keys to position the cursor to the right of
the character, then press the
Clear
softkey.
