in order to release it from the appliance (fig.9).

PARKING SYSTEM

I

The parking system makes it possible to keep the

brush (

3

) with the tubes (

2

) and the flexible hose (

1

)

on the body of the appliance.
Slide the guide on the back of the brush into the
parking housing (M) on the appliance (Fig. 13).

PUTTING THE APPLIANCE AWAY

First ensure that the appliance has cooled down
completely.

Detach the power supply cable plug from the
mains supply.

• Wind the power cable around the convenient  ca-

ble winder (

O

) (Fig.10).

• Place the small accessories in the compartment

as described in the “accessories compartment”
section.

KALSTOP

Water by its nature contains magnesium, mineral
salts and other deposits which in hard water areas
can contribute to limescale build up in the tank. In
very hard water areas we recommend the use of
our Kalstop FP2003, a special natural-base decal-
cifier which inhibits and breaks down limescale.
This is a preventive against scale build-up and pro-
tects the metal walls of the boiler. Kalstop FP2003
can be found in small appliance stores, Polti ser-
vice centres and on the web site www.polti.com

CARE OF YOUR APPLIANCE

• Before attempting any maintenance operation,

make sure to always disconnect the appliance
from the mains.

• After using the brushes, we recommend letting

the bristles cool down in their natural position, in
order to avoid any deformation.

• To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a

moist cloth.

Regularly check the status of the coloured
washer located in the connector assembly
(1F). If necessary, replace with the appro-
priate spare part (17), as described below.

- Remove the damaged washer.
- Insert the new washer, placing it on the steam

nozzle and pushing it until it is in its place. See
(Fig. A)
Carry out the same inspection on the connection
seals of the steam gun  (

1C

), the extension tubes

(

2

) and the accessories socket (

4

).
