2. CONNECTION OF ACCESSORIES
2.1 FLEX (only for model Vaporetto
Diffusion)
• To join the flex to the appliance, bring the
arrow on the flex into line with the single
notch on the appliance and then rotate the
flex body in the direction of the arrow, until
it clicks into place (12).
•
To release the flex, pull the little lever
above it and rotate in the opposite
direction from before (13).
• In turn, the lance can be connected to the
flex and therefore all other accessories
supplied.
2.2 LANCE
To attach the lance, bring the arrow on the
lance into line with the single notch on the
appliance and then rotate the lance in the
direction of the arrow until it clicks into place
(14).
The following accessories can be attached to
the lance:
• window-washing accessory, curved nozzle,
round brushes, spatula and accessory for
grouting. Simply insert them into the lance
tip and rotate until they lock into place (15).
3. CLEANING GLASS, WINDOWS
AND TILES
3.1 Make sure that section 1 has been
completed.
3.2 Only for model Vaporetto Diffusion
connect the flex to the appliance (it’s
possible connect the lance to the flex in order
to reach parts that are difficult to reach, as
indicated in point 2.1)and to the Window-
washer accessory as indicated in point 2.2.
Only for model Vaporetto First connect the
flex to the appliance.
3.3
Ensure that the steam lock on the handle
is deactivated
(10).
3.4
Press and hold the steam trigger on the
handle (11) and steam the surface abundantly
to dissolve the dirt.
3.5 Only for model Vaporetto Diffusion
wiping the window-washer frame over it to
eliminate the dirt, without steaming.
Only for model Vaporetto First wiping the
surface with a dry cloth.
4. CLEANING UPHOLSTERY
(mattresses, sofas, car interiors, etc.)
4.1 Make sure that section 1 has been
completed.
4.2 Only for model Vaporetto Diffusion
connect the lance to the appliance (it’s
possible connect the lance to the flex in order
to reach parts that are difficult to reach, as
indicated in point 2.1) and to the Window-
washer accessory as indicated in point 2.2.
Applied the cloth to the Window-washer
accessory (16).
4.3
Ensure that the steam lock on the handle
is deactivated
(10).
4.4 Press the steam button on the appliance
and steam the surfaces.(11).
4.5 Only for model Vaporetto First connect
the lance to the appliance. Ensure that the
steam lock on the handle is deactivated.
Press the steam button on the appliance and
steam the surfaces. Wiping the surface with
a dry cloth.
5. CLEANING BATHROOM FIXTURES,
GROUTING AND KITCHEN WORKTOPS
5.1 Make sure that section 1 has been
completed.
5.2 Connect the lance to the appliance as
indicated in point 2.2. (it’s possible connect
the lance to the flex in order to reach parts
that are difficult to reach, as indicated in
point 2.1).
5.3 Connect to the lance, as explained in 2.2,
the accessory most suitable for the purpose :
• curved nozzle
for reaching even more
inaccessible points
• round brushes recommended for removing
encrusted dirt from very narrow surfaces.
• spatula (only for Vaporetto Diffusion) for
removing stubborn encrusted dirt
• Accessory for grouting (only for Vaporetto
Diffusion) for cleaning tile grouting.
5.4
Ensure that the steam lock on the handle
is deactivated
(10).
5.5 Press the steam button on the appliance
and steam the surfaces.(11).
WARNING:
To clean glass surfaces
in
particularly
cold
seasons,
preheat
the
windows starting to vacuum from a distance
of about 50 cm from the surface.
WARNING:
Before
cleaning
leather
or
fabrics
with
steam,
consult
the
manufacturer’s
instructions
and
always
carry out a test on a hidden part or on a
sample of the material. Allow the steamed
part to dry to make sure that no changes in
colour or deformations have occurred.
WARNING: Do not use the brass brush on
particularly delicate surfaces.
