• This appliance is not intended for use by persons

(including children) with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given su-
pervision or instruction concerning use of the ap-
pliance by a person responsible for their safety. 

• Children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the appliance.

•  Do not use if the appliance has been dropped,

has visible signs of damage or leaks.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be repla-

ced by the manufacturer, its service agent or si-

This appliance is intended for home use, to vacuum
up solid dirt, as described and in accordance with
the instructions provided in this manual. Please
read these instructions carefully and keep them, as
you may find them useful in future.

Polti declines all liability for any damage or ac-
cident deriving from any use of Lecologico
which is not in conformity with the instructions
contained in this booklet.

INFORMATION FOR USERS
Directive 2002/96/EC (Waste Electrical and Elec-
tronic Equipment - WEEE): This product complies
with EU Directive 2002/96/EC.   

The crossed-out bin symbol on the ap-
pliance means that at the end of its useful
lifespan, the product must be disposed of
separately from other waste. 
The user is responsible for taking the ap-

pliance to an appropriate collection facility at the
end of its useful lifespan or, if purchasing a replace-
ment, similar appliance, for leaving the old one with
the reseller at the time of the purchase. 
Appropriate separate collection to permit recycling,
treatment and environmentally compatible disposal
helps to prevent negative impact on the environ-
ment and human health and promotes recycling of
the materials making up the product.
Unlawful disposal by the owner involves the appli-
cation of the administrative sanctions envisaged by
current legislation.

• Push the upper cover opening button (

•  Raise the upper cover turning it upwards as

shown in figure 1.

•  Raise the water container handle (

) to the hei-

ght of the inlet hole as shown in figure 7.

• Remove the water container (

) pulling it

outwards (fig. 8).

•  Pull the water filter group (

) upwards and then

rotate it outwards (fig. 9/10). 

•  Fill the water container (

)  with ordinary tap wa-

ter up to the

as in figure 2.

The necessary quantity of water is 400 cc.

•  Replace the filter group (

) into the water con-

tainer (

) so that the elbow tube (

between the two protuberances of the water con-
tainer (fig. 13).

•  Gently push the water container handle (

the two grooves on the handle are fitted between
the two pins (

) on the appliance (fig. 14).

•  Replace the upper cover (

• Unwind the cable, removing its whole length from

its storage compartment, by pulling the plug (

towards you  (fig. 4).

•  Connect the plug to the mains socket.
•  Press the ON/OFF switch (

flashing. At this point, your appliance is in stand-
by mode (fig. 6).

• The ON/OFF switch (

) can be pressed with the

foot to avoid having to bend over.

• Keep the +button (

) pressed for at least 2 se-

conds (fig. 6). The Lecologico will start functio-
ning at minimum speed; the flashing indicator li-
ghts will stop flashing and remain on.

•  There are four power levels. We suggest mini-

mum level for curtains, medium-low for sofas,
armchairs and pillows, medium-high for carpets
and high for floors and hard surfaces (ceramic,
marble etc.).

•  To increase the speed, push the + button (

).

Every time you press the  (

), motor

power will increase by one level.

•  The increase by one level is indicated by the illu-

mination of one further stage of the indicator li-
ghts.

•  Similarly, every time you push the - button (
