5 Transport, packaging and storage
5.1 Scope of delivery
A list of of supplied components is contained in the
accompanying documents.
5.2 Transport inspection
Immediately check the delivery upon receipt for completeness, tech-
nical changes and transport damages.
Proceed as follows if any external transport damages or technical
changes can be identified:

Do not accept the delivery or only subject to conditions
n
Note the extent of damage on the transport documents or on the
shipper's delivery note
n
Initiate the complaint process.
Make a complaint about any defects as soon as they are
recognised. Claims for replacement of damages can
only be enforced within the valid complaints period.
5.3 Packaging
Packaging is according to the expected transport conditions.
The packaging should protect the individual components against
transport damages, corrosion and other damages up to the point of
assembly. Therefor do not destroy the packaging and only remove it
shortly before assembly.
Symbols on the packaging
Always pay attention to following symbols:
The points of the arrows identify the top of the packing item. They
must always point upwards otherwise the contents could become
damaged
