6 Using BDAB with Spectroscopic Radiation Monitor РМ1403
Attention! Switch off sound alarm if a cable longer than 1.5 m will be used.
BDAB is connected to Spectroscopic Radiation Monitor by cable No 2 (1.5 m) by RS-485
interface. During the connection process the “POWER” LED (Figure 4.1, position 4) lights on
BDAB. External view of BDAB is presented in Figure 6.1.
To switch Spectroscopic Radiation Monitor РМ1403 on:
press the ON/OFF key on the
Spectroscopic Radiation Monitor РM1403’s case (Figure 6.1, position 11).
When Spectroscopic Radiation Monitor РM1403 is switched on, BDAB is energized
automatically. At that the "POWER" LED will light on the front panel of BDAB (Figure 4.1, position 4).
1 – alarm sounder produces sound (audio) alarm when set DER, DE thresholds are exceeded;

6.1 Switch on/off BDAB
