Insert four AA batteries with the
+
and
-
terminals placed as shown.

Close the cover of the battery
compartment securely.
If you feel resistance, do not force the
cover. Slide it out to the side as far as it will
go, press it down flat against the camera
base, and slide it back into the base to lock
it closed.
