Setting the Focusing Distance
Rotate the distance ring around the camera’s lens, to set the correct camera-to-
subject distance when you are not using flash.
For best results using the macro
setting:
•
Make sure you have adequate lighting.
•
Use the color LCD to frame your photo.
•
Use a tripod or another stable support. Hand-holding the camera may
result in a blurred image.

Use this setting for most subjects.
1 to 2 feet (.3 to .6 m)
Use this macro setting for close-up photos.
Caution:
Do not use flash for macro photos.
