Intended use
This rechargeable work light is designed for a wide variety of applications, e.g. vehicle
inspections/repairs and workshops. It is splash- and dustproof and can be clipped to your belt
or hung on a wall using the fold-out hook. The IP54 protection rating is only guaranteed when
the cover is attached to the USB charging port. The light comes with a 180º fold-out stand
and a built-in magnet that attaches itself to magnetic surfaces. Power is provided by a built-in
lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which can be charged using the USB cable provided and a
standard USB power source.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as short circuits or fire. Read the instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties only together with
its operating instructions.

a) General information
•
This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly, as it may become
dangerous playing material for children.

Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorized use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,

has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
• Always observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which
are connected to the product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.

Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be done by a technician or an
authorized repair centre.

b)
Rechargeable battery
• Never attempt to damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of a
rechargeable battery may cause it to explode or catch fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the
battery or the product into open flames. This constitutes a fire hazard and may
cause an explosion!

Charge the battery regularly, even when you are not using the product. You do not
need to discharge the battery before recharging it.
• Never leave the battery unattended when it is charging.
•
When charging the battery, place the product on a heat-resistant surface. The
product may become warm when the battery is charging.
c) Persons and product

Do not look directly at the LED light!

Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room
into a warm one. The condensation generated may destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This
may take several hours.

Never expose the product to water or damp environments when the cover for the
USB charging port is not in place.

Operation
a) Checking the battery status

• Press and hold the on/off button (10) until the battery status
indicator (9) appears. The battery status indicator will be
displayed for approximately two seconds. The more bars
that are displayed, the higher the remaining battery level.
b) Charging the battery
• Charge the battery when the battery level indicator (9)
shows that the battery is nearly empty (one bar) or when
you notice a significant drop in brightness.
• Pull the plastic cover (6) off the micro USB port.
• Insert the micro USB connector (1) on the charging cable
into the micro USB port (7) on the light.
• Connect the USB-A connector (2) on the micro USB
cable to a USB port on a computer or other suitable USB
power source (e.g. USB power adapter). Charging will
start automatically when the USB power source delivers a
current.
•
The battery status indicator will stay constant to indicate that
the battery is charging.
•
The number of bars indicates the current charging status.
• All bars will be displayed when the battery is fully charged.
