EV Service Manual

FOOT BRAKE PEDAL

PEDAL REMOVAL

Open the hood.

Remove nut, bushing, tube, and bolt from brake
pedal.

Remove retaining clip and clevis pin from master
cylinder to remove pedal.

PEDAL INSTALLATION

Reverse Steps 1-3 for foot brake installation. Torque the
clevis nut to specification. After installing the foot brake
check pedal freeplay.

TORQUE

Clevis Nut:

13 ft-lb (18 Nm)

MEASUREMENT

Brake Pedal Free-play:

Less than .090″ (2.3 mm)
