Cleaning the milk tank and steam nozzle
•
Remove the milk tank, drain the accumulated liquid and rinse with warm water and a soft sponge. Do not use
aggressive, abrasive cleaning agents or organic solvents to clean the device.
•
The tank WITHOUT a lid can be washed in the dishwasher.
•
Fill a clean tank with warm water between the "min" and "max" marks and install it with the lid on and ready
to use.
•
Place a large cup under the nozzle of the milk froth tube.
•
Press CLEAN button
thrice. The process of cleaning the lid mechanism will begin. Rinsing the milk dispenser
is accompanied by flashing indicators 19 and 20
•
At the end of cleaning a five-time beep sounds.
The steam pipe cleaning is performed in 3 stages:
1.
The steam pipe is washed with a large amount of water heated to a temperature of about 100 degrees
Celsius. At this stage, the main contaminants from the milk are washed out.
2.
Pause or air clean which dries the internal surfaces of the steam line.
3.
Washing the steam line with a small amount of water at a temperature of 70-80 degrees which allows to
remove small dirt containing minerals such as calcium, chlorine, and so on.
Attention!
The cleaning process does not end while both indicators are flashing. At that, one can not perform any
actions with the steam line and coffee maker.
It is necessary to wait until the cleaning indicators turn off.
Getting rid of limescale
For effective operation of the coffee machine it is recommended to remove the scale every 2-3 months,
and more often when using the hard water. To do this it is necessary perform the operations described
in the section "Before you start", 2-3% citric acid solution should be used instead of water. After that, it
is necessary to repeat the steps described in the section "Before you start", but after filling the tank with
clean water.
Attention!
It is recommended to perform a complete cleaning every 80 cycles of coffee preparation if the
water is soft (filtered), and every 40 cycles of coffee preparation if the water is hard. The
elimination of defects resulting from improper care, as well as work related to cleaning filters,
removing fat deposits and scale are not included in the warranty service and are performed at
the user's expense.
9. STORAGE
1.
Make sure that the device is disconnected from the mains when not in use.
2.
Drain and clean the device.
3.
Dry the device and make sure that the device is stored in a dry, cool place.
4.
It is forbidden to store the coffee machine in an unheated room with a negative air temperature!
Electrical devices are stored in a closed, dry and clean room at an ambient temperature of no higher than 40 °C
with relative humidity not higher than 70% and no dust, acid or other vapours in the environment that negatively
affect the materials of the electrical device.
10. TRANSPORTATION
Electrical devices are transported by all means of transport in accordance with the rules for that particular type
of carriage of goods in place on a particular type of transport. When transporting the device, use the original
factory packaging.
