Maintenance

Seat Removal

WARNING!

A loose seat could cause a sudden shift in riding position, causing loss of control. Always make sure the seats are

securely fastened before riding the motorcycle.

1. Remove the side covers.
2. Remove the fuse box from the bracket.
3. Remove the two screws (left and right) securing the seat to the frame.
4. Lift the rear of the seat and pull rearward and upward to remove it.

Seat Installation

1. Slide the seat tongue into the rubber mount at the rear of the fuel tank. Push down on the rear of the seat until the

screw holes align.

2. Ensure the front seat mount is engaged in the front rubber mount, then install the screws and tighten securely.
3. Reinstall the fuse box.
4. Reinstall the side covers.
