Read these instructions completely and carefully.

Proper installation is the responsibility of the 
installer.
Product failure due to improper installation is 
not covered under the Warranty.
You 

MUST

  use  all  supplied  parts  and  use 

proper  installation  procedures  as  described 
in  these  instructions  when  installing  this  air 
conditioner.

WARNING

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.

Can cause injury or death. This appliance 
must  be  properly  grounded.  Where  a  2-
prong  wall  outlet  is  encountered,  it  is 
your  responsibility  and  obligation  to 
h a v e   i t   r e p l a c e d   w i t h   a   p r o p e r l y  
grounded 3-prong outlet.

( N E C )   a n d / o r   l o c a l   c o d e s   a n d  
ordinances.

For  personal  safety,  this    unit  and 

case must be properly grounded.

Protective devices (fuses or circuit 

b r e a k e r s )   a c c e p t a b l e   f o r   u n i t  
installations  are  specified  on  the 
nameplate of each unit.

Do  not  use  an  extension  cord  with 

this unit.

A l u m i n u m  b u i l d i n g  w i r i n g  m a y 

present  special  problems  -  consult  a 
qualified electrician.

When  the  unit  is  not  running  there 

i s  s t i l l  v o l t a g e  t o  t h e  e l e c t r i c a l 
controls.

Disconnect  the  power  to  the  unit 

before servicing by:

1. Removing  the  power  cord  (if  it

has one) from the wall receptacle.

OR  
2. Removing  the  branch  circuit

fuses  or  turning  the  circuit  breakers 
off at the panel.

This air conditioner is not meant to provide 

unattended cooling or life support for 

persons or animals who are unable to react 

to the failure of the product. The failure of an 

unattended air conditioner may result in 

extreme heat in the conditioned space 

causing overheating or death.
