Swather with the MULTITAST system
General
Feeler wheels are assembled on machines with a
"MULTITAST" system. The rotor units are not rigidly
positioned but can be swivelled up and down (approx. 4°)
via a swivel joint.
The feeler wheel can be used to obtain optimal adaptation
of the tines to the ground when the surface is extremely
uneven.
As the tines are located very close to the feeler wheel,
these can also ideally follow the uneven ground. The result
is very clean raking.
TIP
Set the tractor's control valve to float position so that the
frame can be adjusted to the movement of the feeler
wheels.
