Safety information 

 

 

We  intend  to  keep  this  manual  as  updated  as  possible,  however  information  in  this 
manual is subject to change without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the user or the 
local administrator to verify the details by considering suitable sources.

Precautions 

 

 

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this device to rain or moisture, 
thunderbolts or current fluctuation, or the magnetic field of an MRI (H-No.: HW1.1.2 – 
HW1.1.5). 

 

 

Do not leave the device in an area with radiation as it could activate the semiconductors 
leading to improper diagnosis. (H-No.: HW1.2.1) 
 

 

To reduce risk of device malfunction do not be close to construction sites or any other 
environments creating strong vibrations. (H-No.: HW1.4.3) 
 

 

To reduce risk of faulty display rendering do not try to bend or lean on the device. (H-
No.: HW1.4.4) 
 

 

Do not connect this device to other household or consumer devices. 

 

 

The MED-TAB is primarily for use in health care facilities without direct contact to patients 
(no applied part). 

 

 

If the device emits smoke, smells like something is burning, or makes a strange noise, 
disconnect  all  power  connections  immediately  and  contact  your  dealer  for  advice. 
Attempting to use a malfunctioning unit may result in fire, electric shock, burn or damage 
to the device. 

 

 

Do not open the case or modify it. Opening the case or modifying the device may result 
in fire, electric shock, burn or damage to the device. 

 

 

Refer all service to manufacturer authorized qualified service personnel. Do not attempt 
to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may result in fire, electric 
shock, burn, or damage to the device. 

 

 

If an object or liquid falls/spills into the cabinet, unplug the unit immediately. Have the 
unit checked by a qualified service engineer before using it again. (H-No.: HW1.4.2) 
 

 

Do not let the device fall to the ground as it could be damaged itself or could cause injury 
to the user carrying it. (H-No.: HW1.4.1) 

 

 

Set up the unit in an appropriate location. Not doing so may result in fire, electric shock, 
burn or damage of the device. 

 

Do not place the unit in a dusty or humid environment.
