USER GUIDE. Version 1.0
MacBAT 5 has two options of modification:
•
Using the predefined accounts with password using the keyboard. Each
modification attempt requires the password authentication. Default password is
4096 up to the administrator account. Higher privileges level
–
metrologist is
reserved for authorized manufacturer staff.
•
Switching the proper lock switch in the device interior. There are two locks inside:
o
CFG lock
–
standard configuration lock designed for making the
administrator modification without putting the password every time when
there is a request for modification of parameters. Unlocked switch grants
constant access to the device on administrative level. This mode is
suggested while performing initial configuration after installation. After the
configuration it is suggested to change default access passwords, lock the
switch and seal it using the installers sticker seal.
o
MET lock
–
metrological lock which enables full access to the EVC. In
devices assembled without MID conformity check this switch rule is simply
to secure the EVC from editing advanced parameters. This is unlimited
access for all the parameters except for pressure and temperature sensors
range. Opening the lock switch must be done in full understanding of
performing such action.
For MID devices removing the seal and opening the MET lock causes loss of MID certification on this unit. After that
this unit requires to be certified once again in local measurement bureau which has permission to certify the
measurement units.
