MacBAT 5

USER GUIDE. Version 1.0
MacBAT 5 is the Electronic Volume Conversion device designed to work with diaphragm, rotary, turbine, ultrasonic gas meter through
pulses connection or by digital communication using Encoder. MacBAT 5 is explosive-proof device which can work in explosive Zone 0 in
classification of ATEX. MacBAT 5 collects the volume of natural gas from gas meter, stores it in internal memory and proceeds the calculation
of volume to base conditions of the respective gas volume. MacBAT 5 operates with various menu languages
–
English, Spanish, Polish.
More about the functionalities of the MacBAT 5 apart of measurement of the gas volume and conversion. Flow of gas in measurement and
base condition is recorded and can be obtained in registered data field. Apart from the gas itself, whole gas station can be monitored and
supervised by MacBAT 5 using the integrated circuits for inputs and outputs what makes MacBAT 5 fully equipped steering device with
functionality of data logger.
Communication with the device is enabled through the internal optional modem in the 4G/3G/2G technologies as well as NB-IoT and LTE
Cat. M. Serial communication is available through 2xRS485 or 1xRS485 and optional 1xRS232 serial ports. Additionally device is equipped
with the Optical Interface and Near Field Communication NFC interface, to have contactless connection between smartphone and MacBAT 5.
