ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
a. Do not store a spare LP-gas cylinder under or near this appliance.
b. Never fill the cylinder beyond 80 percent full.
c. If the information in (a) and (b) is not followed exactly, a fire causing death or serious injury
may occur.
The pressure regulator and hose assembly supplied with the appliance must be used.
When an appliance is for connection to a fixed piping system, the installation must conform with
local codes, or in the absence of local codes with the
National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1 • NFPA
54;
National Fuel Gas Code; Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1; or Propane
Storage and Handling Code, CSA B149.2, as applicable.
12. Put the gas cylinder inside the unit on the bottom
plate (J).
Before connection, be sure that there is
no debris caught in the outlet of the gas cylinder,
inlet of the regulator valve or in the outlet
of the burner and burner ports. Ensure the
propane cylinder valve is turned off. Then
connect the gas cylinder with the regulator (Q)
as shown in figure 12. Fix the gas cylinder in
place by tightening the butterfly bolt.
