Installation Instructions

Attach the spring cover panels to the spring mounting plate.
__Step 11:

 Attach the spring cover panels to the spring mounting plate. See 

Detail G

. Select both cover panels and the appropriate hardware. There are (2) 

two connections. Place the cover panels on top of the spring mounting plate and 
make attachments as shown. Fully tighten connections.

Attach the cover panel to the frame

__Step 12:

 Attach the cover panel to the frame. See 

Detail H

. Select the see-saw 

cover panel and the appropriate hardware. There are (4) four connections. Place 
the cover panel, with the countersunk holes facing up, on top of the mounting 
brackets on the see-saw frame and make attachments as shown. 

Attach the seat mounting brackets to the frame.
__Step 13:

 Attach the seat mounting brackets to the frame. See 

Detail I

Select the (4) four seat mounting brackets, (4) four pieces of plastic trim and 
appropriate hardware. There are (12) twelve lower connections and (8) eight 
upper connections. Position a bracket and a piece of plastic trim against each 
end of the see-saw frame and, using loctite on the 1" bolt threads only, make 
attachments as shown.

Note

: Two of the mounting brackets and plastic trim are designed to be mounted 

on the left side of the see-saw frame and two on the right side. Hole patterns are 
distinct and brackets can only be mounted on the correct side.

Attach the side panels to the frame.
__Step 14:

  Attach the side panels to the frame. See 

Detail J

. Select (4) four 

handle side panels and appropriate hardware. There are (8) eight connections. 
Position each side panel against the see-saw frame just ahead of each seat 
mounting bracket and, using loctite on the bolt threads, make attachments as 
shown. Leave connections loose.

Note

: Ensure the side panels angle towards the seat mounting bracket.

Attach the handles to the side panels.
__Step 15:

 Attach the handles to the side panels. See 

Detail K

. Select (4) four 

handles and the appropriate hardware. There are (16) sixteen connections. 
Position each handle between the top or bottom of each pair of side panels and 
make attachments as shown.  

Attach the seat covers to the bottom of the seat mounting bracket.
__Step 16:

  Attach the seat covers to the bottom of the seat mounting bracket. See 

Detail L

. Select (2) two seat covers and the appropriate hardware. There are (8) 

eight connections. Position each seat cover, with the countersunk holes up, over 
the bottom of the seat mounting brackets and make attachments as shown. 

Attach the seat covers to the top of the seat back.
__Step 17:

  Attach seat covers to the top of the seat back. See 

Detail M

. Select 

(2) two seat covers and the appropriate hardware. There are (8) eight connections. 
Position each seat cover, with countersunk holes out, against the seat backs and 
make attachments as shown.

Final Details.
__Step 18:

  Plumb and level the entire component. Tighten 

all

 fasteners. Fully 

tighten all fasteners according to tightening torque specifi cations. Block and brace 
for concrete. Pour concrete after all equipment has been assembled. Allow 72 
hours for concrete to completely cure.

Note

: Check for proper operation. Frame should pivot smoothly on the shaft.  

__Step 19:

 For areas complying with ASTM standard F1487 and CSA Z-614, 

apply the age appropriate label at a visible location on the equipment. Also apply 
the Surface Warning labels at the locations indicated on the
