Assembly Instructions
Congratulations on choosing a Playgro Activity Playgym for your baby. As the health of your child is our utmost
concern, please follow the instructions carefully to ensure the safety of your child when using this product.
• Adult assembly required.
• Once assembled, the activity arch is held under tension between the two plastic cups. Care
should be taken when assembling or disassembling this mat to prevent the arms from popping
out of the plastic cups and causing injury.
• Remove the activity arch when baby begins to push up on hands and knees.
• Do not lift or attempt to move the mat with the baby on it.
• Healthy babies should sleep on their backs! Help reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death
Syndrome – when putting your baby down to sleep, place them on their back. Babies should
not be allowed to sleep while lying on this Discovery Gym. Do not use this product as a blanket.
Only use this product on the floor. Do not use in crib, play pens, etc.

Insert one end of the toy arch into one of the plastic cups.
• The activity arch has a fabric security strap attached to it with a plastic
toggle at the end.
The plastic toggle should be threaded through the round hole in the
cup. This secures the activity arch firmly to the plastic cup.
To move the activity arch and cup from the playmat, twist the cup that
holds the arch until the pin reaches the arrow mark on the outside of the
cup. Then lift the cup and arch upwards, away from the plastic base.
• The activity arch can be clipped onto either side of baby’s cot as a cot
mobile. Baby can watch the hanging characters above at bedtime.
The elastic strap should be attached around
the cot rail, and then attach to the plastic
toggle on the activity arch.

attached to the side wall of
baby’s cot using Velcro straps.

Remove the plastic
cups from the
activity arch before
hanging it from
the side wall of
baby’s cot.
• When the activity arch is positioned over the cot (in “cot
mobile” mode), the arch should be firmly secured to the cot
rail using the elastic strap.
• A crib/cot mobile is not intended to be grasped by a child.
• Always attach all provided fasteners (strings, straps, clamps
etc) tightly to a crib or playpen according to the instructions.
Check frequently.
• Do not attach additional strings or straps to attach to a crib
or playpen.
