USING YOUR KETTLE
Before first use, please follow these instructions:
1. Remove all packaging and any labels.
2. Fill the kettle to the

MAX
”
level. Boil. Discard the water. Repeat this process twice.
TO USE YOUR KETTLE
1. Fill the kettle with as much fresh, cold water as you will need. The maximum water
level is indicated on the side of the kettle and is marked by the word
“
MAX
”
.

and
“
MIN
”
.
3. Be economical: do not boil more water than needed.
4. To improve the quality of your drinks always use fresh water.
5. Push the lid close firmly until it locks into position.
Note:
Ensure that the ON/OFF switch is clear of obstructions and the lid is firmly
closed. The kettle will not turn off if the ON/OFF switch is constrained or if the lid is
left open.
6. Plug in the power base, and switch unit on by pressing the on/off switch to the
“
I
”
position (the indicator light will turn on when the kettle is working).
7. Your kettle will reach boiling point, and switch off automatically. To re-boil, simply
wait a few seconds then reset the on/off switch.
8. To avoid the risk of splashing, pour slowly and do not over-tilt the kettle.
9. Empty the kettle after each use.
10. Your kettle is fitted with a scale filter to hold back lime scale particles.
