4-5 Firewall Setup
The BRL-04AR Broadband router can block out designated Internet
services, such as Web browsing and E-mail, preventing users from
accessing the services during specific periods.
For example, if a supervisor doesn't want the employees to browse We b
pages on the Internet during business hours, he/she can temporarily remove
the Web browsing service from the list. Thereafter, no users can browse the
Internet pages until browsing the Web pages has been returned to the list.
By default, the feature of Access Control is disabled. To enable this feature,
please follow the directions below:
Click Firewall Setup and it then enters the setup menu as shown below.
(1) Enter the Port and Type for the service you want to block.
(2) Choose Disable.
(3) Click Apply.
(4) Done.
