9. Troubleshooting
1.
Boot up failure
a)
Please check if the power cord is correctly connected.
b)
Please make sure the power adapter is well connected to your Video Phone
and the plug is well plugged into the socket. When the power supply is
normal, the LED indicator is RED and it turns GREEN when you connect a
network wire to your Video Phone.
c)
Please check if the power adapter is out of order. The LED indicator on the
power adapter should be GREEN when power is on.
2.
Connection failure
a)
Please check if the LAN cable is well connected to the RJ-45 LAN port of
your Video Phone and make sure the RJ-45 joint on your network wire
functions normally.
b)
Please check if your system configuration is correct.
c)
Please confirm if the IP address of the remote site is correct.
3.
The Video Phone keeps ringing but doesn’t establish the connection.
This is because you disable the auto-answer mode. In this case, you have to pick
up the handset or press the [Speaker] button to answer the phone.
4.
The picture is block or scrappy.
This is caused by bad Internet connection quality or insufficient bandwidth. We
recommend that you set the picture quality to SQCIF (path: Menu
Æ
Advanced
Æ
Picture Quality) and set the bandwidth to 128Kbps.
5.
Local image is blurry.
Please adjust the camera focus by using the camera focus tuning knob around
the camera.
