When the systems power is turned on the system runs a 

Self-Test

. The type of 

test is displayed in the Message Zone. 
 
Tests such as, FIFO TEST, DRAM TEST and SRAM TEST are done. Results 
of some tests will also display. When the 

Self-Test

 is complete, the Mode 

Indicator will display the current mode (UTILIZATION).
