Installation
The stove is delivered in a carton box, fixed on a transport pallet. Preferably, the stove should
be unpacked at the installation site.
The stoves are designed with top flue connection.
Stove Positioning Requirements
If the stove is to be installed in a room with combustible or heat sensitive flooring, a solid non-
combustible floor protector is required under the stove. The floor protector must be
dimensioned to extend at least 20 cm to the sides and 40 cm to the front of the stove.
The minimum clearance between the stove (sides and rear) and materials sensitive to heat is
45 cm.
The minimum clearance between the stove and materials sensitive to heat within the area
directly exposed to heat in front of the stove shall be 80 cm.
The stove should be positioned on a level surface, in a room with sufficient fresh air to support
the combustion.
Chimney Connection
Common stovepipes and elbows of nominal diameter 120 mm are used for the connection to
the chimney. The inner dia (ID) of the stovepipe is 118 mm.
Make sure that sections of the stovepipe are tightly fastened together and that the connections
of the stovepipe with the flue outlet and with the chimney outlet are firm and tight.
The stovepipe must extend to but not beyond the chimney liner, i.e. it must not protrude into the
cross section of the chimney.
Satisfactory stove operation will be achieved if the stove is connected to a properly designed
and maintained chimney ensuring a good draught, i.e. an underpressure of 1-2 mm w.c.
The installation of the stove shall be performed in compliance with relevant local regulations.
Operation
Fuel
These stoves are designed to burn wood, wood briquettes and brown coal briquettes.
Use only well-seasoned, dry wood with low moisture content to reduce the likelihood of greasy
soot (creosote) buildup on the chimney walls, which may lead to possible clogging of the
chimney.
Do not burn the household waste, especially not any plastic material. Many waste materials
contain substances that are harmful to the stove, the chimney and the environment.
Also, never burn chipboard waste because chipboard contains glues which may cause
overheating of the stove.
