3.3 OPERATION WITH NATURAL GAS (SEE TECHNICAL DATA SHEET)
The connection of the appliance to the grid must be carried out through the stainless steel flexible pipe (7) as required by legislation, by
interposing the washer (4) to the connection of the appliance (3).
3.4 CHECKING THE SEAL
The verification of connection tightness takes place by means of a leak detection spray or soapy water, at the operating pressure. The seal is
considered to be correct if there is no bubble formation.
• Never use a naked flame to check the correct gas escape from the burner or the presence of gas leaks from the appliance.
CHECK BEFORE YOU TURN ON.
• Remove the protective film from the steel.
• Check that the appliance is placed in the correct manner.
• Check that all components are correctly seated.
• Check that the connection is carried out in an adequate manner.
• DO NOT OPERATE THE APPLIANCE INDOORS WITHOUT AIR INTAKES AND NEAR FLAMMABLE MATERIALS.
• Check that the gas tube does not make contact with the bottom of the appliance or is not crushed or near the expulsion of hot air on the back
of the appliance.
• If the operation should not be optimal,
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THE APPLIANCE, but please contact the nearest authorized service
centre.
4 SWITCHING ON / OPERATION
• Open the gas of the cylinder or the gas grid (for natural gas operation).
• Press and simultaneously turn the knob counter-clockwise to the maximum position “
HIGH
“, hold the knob to activate the start of the
electronic ignition.
• When the burner is turned on, hold the knob for a few seconds to activate the thermocouple.
• The ignited burner is observable through the holes (A) which are visible by removing the drawer to collect oil (B). (See FIG.4)
• After the burner is turned on, it is possible to adjust the flame to the minimum position “
LOW
“
• If the operation should not be optimal,
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THE APPLIANCE, but please contact the nearest authorized service
centre.
• Early ignitions must be made with moderate fire, to allow plates / grids to “stabilize”.
• Do not leave the appliance switched on if it is not used in order to avoid deformation of materials and/or blackening.
• Do not cook any frozen food, you do not get a good cooking and the thermal shock could cause deformation of the hob.
• At the end of cooking, turn the knob to the closed position “
OFF
“ and turn off the gas tap.
• From the plate, cooking juices flow down to the tray. Keep the tray under observation and empty it when it is necessary, by lodging it back so
that the same take the “correct position to collect juices”.
• During cooking, cook with minimum fire, unless there is a need for a higher temperature.
