3. The diameter of the exhaust hose has to meet the diameter of the connecting
ring.
4. When a one-way valve is used, check after installation of the hose if the valve
works properly.
5. Depending on the model the hood is equipped with one ( top ) or two ( top, back
) outlets.
6. The extractor hood is normally preset for the use of the top outlet as well as for
extraction mode.
7. The idle outlet is covered by a plastic cap. You can remove this cap by turning it
anticlockwise. Use the cap to cover the idle outlet.
8. If your appliance is equipped with a carbon filter, remove the carbon filter before
you run the appliance in the extraction mode. The carbon filter should be used in
the recirculating mode only.

If the hood is installed without an exhaust duct it must run in recirculation mode only.

The air outlets on the upper front side must be open; otherwise the capacity of the
hood is reduced.

The appliance is preset for recirculation mode.
Complaints caused by faulty-set operation mode
cannot be accepted.
