you (optionally) can install the
adapter. Insert the exhaust hose into the adapter.
There is a small plastic plate inside the hood on the front left side of the plastic
housing to change the operating mode ( pull slightly and insert into the next
opening ).Before you remove the filters to set the desired operation mode
disconnect the appliance from the mains.
The appliance is preset for recirculation mode (the opening on the front top side is
open).
If you want to run the appliance in extractor mode, you have to change the mode
with the small plastic plate.
Extractor mode: the opening on the front top side must be closed.
Recirculation mode: the opening on the front top side is angular opened so the
extracted air can escape.
Recirculation mode: the round plastic cover should cover the air outlet on
the top of the appliance (for UBH PKM 5000 it is firmly mounted).
Recirculation mode: filtering by activated carbon filters is not arranged.
It is possible to put a filter mat between grease filter and motor.
Operating without filter mat does not cause damage to the motor and electric
components.
