Locking the Mailing Machine to Prevent Use
Locking prevents unauthorized use of the
machine. When you lock the machine to prevent
use, the meter cannot be removed and the
mailing machine does not operate. To lock the
mailing machine:
1. Turn the key upright to the unlocked posi-
tion.
2. Move the operate/remove lever to the center
position .
3. Turn the key clockwise to the horizontal
locked position. Remove the key.
Locking the Meter
You can lock the meter so that the mailing
machine runs and the meter cannot be removed
from the machine.
1. Turn the key upright to the unlocked position.
