Ignitor Failure Press the igniter button until a loud click is heard.
Repeat until burner lights, or check for proper
positioning of ignitor, and notice if the electrode is
producing a spark; the spark should be visible and
jump from the ignitor to the burner. If there is no
spark, adjust the electrode to slightly bending a little
closer or further away from the burner. If wet, allow
electrode to air dry, or dry with a clean cloth or blow
dryer. If igniter still fails, igniter needs to be replaced.
