CAUTION:
Pedals must be locked in position and control handles fully
down before flight. Ensure seat belt harnesses are not twisted.
4.4.2 STARTING ENGINE
If the airplane will be started using external power, keep all personnel and
power unit cables well clear of the propeller rotation plane.

2 Fuel Selector Fullest Tank
3 LANE A/B switches ON
4 LANE A/B warning lights CHECK *
5 Voltage Indication CHECK
6 Propeller setting Full forward (fine)
7 Propeller Area Clear
8 Throttle Lever Open ~55-65% *
9 Oil Pressure Indication Available
10 Fuel Pressure CHECK (3 bar min)
11 Starter Switch Start (Release after engine starts)
CAUTION:
Limit cranking to intervals of 20 seconds with a 20 second cool-
ing period between cranks. This will improve battery and contactor life.
12 Thottle Lever IDLE
13 Oil Pressure Check (3 bar min)
14 LANE A/B warning lights CHECK OFF *
15 Thottle Lever Set above 2500 RPM for 5 seconds
16 Voltage indication increase CHECK
