For DVD, start playback which repeats the operation
of one block read/pause, and start the same operation
as the EDC mode 1 for CD. The setting of the ID No.
or MSF No. is the same as EDC mode 1. The return
value is EDC2 or later.
Error Rate Measurement

Measure the C1 error rate of the DVD by setting one
to 64 sampling blocks. For the return value, the C1
error rate is displayed exponentially. The unit is % if
the specified value is multiplied by 100. The
sampling block setting method is the same as the
setting method for the number of track jumps.
Normally, the error rate is less than 0.1%.
EDC Mode Termination

Terminate the EDC mode. No return value
Disc Tray

Set the tray No. of the disc to be clamped and change
the disc. Use the key 1 or key 2 to set the fourth digit
from the bottom of the display value to the tray No. to
be set and to operate it using the BAND key. The
return value is 0000000X and X indicates a specified
tray No.
Mechanism Test Mode

Move to the mechanism test mode. The return value
is 00000000.
ELV/Tray Selection
: 70410000
For the motor to be moved, select either an ELV
motor or a tray motor. Use the key 1 or key 2 to
select the motor. Toggle selection. The return value
is 00000000 when selecting the ELV motor or
00000001 when selecting the tray motor.
Operation Mode Selection
: 70420000
Set the drive amount of the ELV or tray motor. Use
the key 1 or key 2 to select the Major, Intermediate
and Minor of the drive amount. Toggle selection.
The return value is 00000000 when the drive amount
is Minor, 00000001 when it is Intermediate or
00000002 when it is Major.
Motor Forward Revolution
: 70430000
Drive the motor to the extent of the amount specified
by selecting the operation mode. When selecting the
ELV motor, the stage operates to the side of the tray
1, and when selecting the tray motor, the tray arm
operates to the side of tray return. When the drive
amount is Intermediate and Minor, the motor
performs one-time operation every time the BAND
key is being pressed. When the drive amount is
Major, it is driven while the key is being pressed.
Motor Reverse Revolution
: 70440000
Drive the motor to the extent of the amount specified
by selecting the operation mode. When selecting the
ELV motor, the stage operates to the side of the tray
6, and when selecting the tray motor, the tray arm
operates to the side of tray withdrawal. When the
drive amount is Intermediate and Minor, the motor
performs one-time operation every time the BAND
key is being pressed. When the drive amount is
Major, it is driven while the key is being pressed.
Mechanism Test Mode Termination
Terminate the mechanism test mode. The return
value is 00000000.
Head Units Which Cannot Enter the Test Mode
Because the following head units cannot make this
equipment enter the test mode, do not use them in
the test mode.
