Using PRA-BD11
Note:
When “
SDI
” is selected as input, under the following conditions, the error message [
No
SDI_V Input
/
No SDI_A Input
] will appear on the monitor if preview, record or other
operations are performed on the DVD recorder:
1. No signal input via the
SDI
input connector
2. A video signal other than the supported format (270 Mb/S, 525i/625i, 4:2:2
component) is input to the
SDI
input connectors
3. An audio signal other than the supported format (linear PCM, 48 kHz, 20-bit, channel
1/2) is input to the
SDI
input connectors
Check the format of the signal input to the
SDI
input connectors when the
above error messages appear.
The above error messages may also appear when a data signal is input in the vertical
blanking area of the video signal.
Selecting AES/EBU input
Display the DVD recorder’s
Function
Menu
, and select “
AES/EBU
” from
[A Input] on the
STATUS
section.
The “
SDI
” menu and “
AES/EBU
”
menu are added to [
A Input
] and
becomes available for selection
when this unit is installed.
Note:
When “
AES/EBU
” is selected as input, be sure that only AES/EBU signals synchronized
to the video signal set with [
V Input
] are actually input. Inputting a non-synchronized
signal may result in unstable operation of the DVD recorder.
Note:
When “
AES/EBU
” is selected as input, under the following conditions, the error message
[
No AES / EBU Input
] will appear on the monitor if preview, record or other operations
are performed on the DVD recorder:
1. No signal input via the
AES/EBU
input connector
2. A signal other the support format (linear PCM, 48 kHz, 16/18/20-bit, industrial format)
is input to the
AES/EBU
input connectors.
When “
No AES/EBU Input
” appears, check the format of the signal input to
the
AES/EBU
input connectors.
