REQ_MD (38 pin: P60)
Terminal
Specifications
TXD0
: Data output
RXD0
: Data input
REQ_MD : H/L output
Control
Main microcomputer
• Communication between main microcomputer and module microcomputer
Communication protocol of RS-232C is as follows:
• Clock asynchronous serial communication
• LSB first
• Start
: 1bit
• Data
: 8bit
• Parity
: 0 (No parity)
• Baudrate
: 38400bps
Numeric value direct validity : When transmit a number after the command, adjustment value is able to set directly.
UP/DOWN validity
: When transmit the "UPn" or "DWn" (n=0, 1, ... , 9 or F) after the adjust command, ups and downs of the
adjustment value are possible.
Data is an alphanumeric character mark of ASCII notation (do not perform distinction of a large letter and a small letter).
The consecutive transmission is maximum three commands

RS-232C Communication
• Perform the command processing in the order that input.
• Ignore the information of this ID 2 bytes because the module microcomputer does not perform process with ID.
• After the command reception, convert a total value of transmit data except STX, ETX, ID into 2 bytes of hexadecimal number
as checksum (CS from now on), and transmit it.

CS (2byte)
ETX (03hex)
• Transmission method of checksum
When an error occurred between ETX from STX, stop the process after a concerned command, and clear the reception buffer.
