Listening to Satellite Radio
To listen to Satellite Radio, you’ll need to
connect an XM Satellite Radio tune
r (sold
se p a r ately) to you r XM-Ready r eceive r . XM
Satellite Radio is available to r esidents of the
US (exce p t Alaska and Hawaii) and Canada.
Satellite Radio delive r s a va r iety of comme r cial-
f r ee music f r om catego r ies r anging f r om Po p ,
Rock, Count r y, R&B, Dance, Jazz, Classical
and many mo r e p lus cove r age of all the to p
pr ofessional and college s p o r ts including p lay
by p lay games f r om select leagues and teams.
Additional pr og r amming includes ex p e r t
s p o r ts talk, uncenso r ed ente r tainment, comedy,
family pr og r amming, local t r affic and weathe r
and news f r om you r most t r usted sou r ces.
Once you’ve p u r chased an XM tune r you’ll
need to activate and subsc r ibe to begin
enjoying the se r vice. Easy to follow installation
and setu p inst r uctions a r e pr ovided with the
satellite tune r s. The r e a r e a va r iety of
pr og r amming p ackages available, including
the o p tion of adding “The Best of SIRIUS”
pr og r amming. The “Best of SIRIUS” se r vice is
not available to XM Canada subsc r ibe r s at this
time.
Family f r iendly p ackages a r e also available to
r est r ict channels featu r ing content that may be
ina ppr o pr iate fo r child r en.

Connecting your XM Radio receiver
Afte r p u r chasing a Connect-and Play™
antenna (sold se p a r ately), you will also need to
activate the XM Radio digital r adio se r vice to
r eceive b r oadcasts.

1 Connect an XM Radio Connect-and-Play™
antenna to the XM Radio jack on the rear of
this receiver.
You will also need to activate the XM Radio
se
r vice.
When activating the XM Radio ‘Connect-and-
Play’ ™ digital antenna, make su
r e to wait until
the activation pr ocess is com p lete befo r e
changing the XM-RADIO function. Changing to
anothe
r in p ut sou r ce will sto p the activation
pr ocess.
2 Use the XM input select button to switch
to the XM Radio input.
Fo r best r ece p tion, you may need to move the
Connect-and-Play™ antenna nea r a window
(the southe r nmost window should pr oduce the
best r esults).
