Functio

Media Description 

+R 

Close the last session and finalize the disc. Once this close function has been 

executed, no 

more writing to the disc is allowed. If not all Tracks in the last Session are closed, 

the 

+R Drive shall terminate this command with CHECK CONDITION Status and sense 

data 

shall be set to ILLEGAL REQUEST/SESSION FIXATION ERROR/ INCOMPLETE 

TRACK IN SESSION. 

 

+R DL 

The drive closes the last session and finalize the disc. 

Once this close function has been executed, no more writing to the disc is 

allowed. If not all Fragment in the last Session are closed, the drive will terminate 

this command with CHECK CONDITION Status and sense data will be set to 

ILLEGAL REQUEST/SESSION FIXATION ERROR/ INCOMPLETE TRACK IN SESSION.
