1 Select TV or AV as a source on your
head unit.
Refer to the head unit operation manual.

When you select
TV
, there is no need to
take the following procedure.

When connecting a head unit which does
not feature an AV source, select a external
unit as a source on your head unit.
2 Press AV SOURCE to select a video
source.
Press
AV SOURCE
repeatedly to switch be-
tween the following sources:
AV-1
(video input 1)
AV-2
(video input 2)
Note
In the following cases, the sound source will not
change:

When there is no unit corresponding to the se-
lected source connected to this unit.
!
When
AV INPUT1
(video input 1) and/or
AV INPUT2
(video input 2) are not set to
VIDEO
(refer to page 27).

In the following cases, the sound source will
not change:
When there is no unit corresponding to the
selected source connected to this unit.
When there is no disc in the DVD player.
When there is no magazine in the multi-
CD player.
When there is no magazine in the multi-
DVD player.
When the AUX (auxiliary input) is set to off
(refer to page 30).
When
AV INPUT1
(video input 1) and/or
AV INPUT2
(video input 2) are not set to
VIDEO
(refer to page 27).

External unit refers to a Pioneer product (such
as one available in the future) that, although
incompatible as a source, enables control of
basic functions by this unit. Two external units
can be controlled by this unit. When two exter-
nal units are connected, the allocation of
them to external unit 1 or external unit 2 is
automatically set by this unit.
