Switching the auxiliary setting

It is possible to use auxiliary equipment with
this unit. Activate the auxiliary setting when
using auxiliary equipment connected to this
unit.

Only when using this unit with MASTER
mode (
M
), you can operate this function.

Function display
Shows the function names.
1 Press AV SOURCE and hold until the
unit turns off.
2 Press A.MENU to display MENU.
INITIAL
and
SETUP
appear on the display.
3 Use
a
,
b
and A.MENU to select INITIAL.
Press
a
/
b
to change the menu option; press
A.MENU
to select the menu option.
The menu option selected with
a
/
b
is dis-
played with a frame.
AUX
appears in the display.
4 Press A.MENU to select AUX.
5 Press
a
to turn auxiliary setting on.

To turn auxiliary setting off, press
b
.

To return to the previous display, press
BACK
.

To return to the display of each source, press
BAND/ESC
.
Using the AUX source
An IP-BUS-RCA Interconnector such as the
CD-RB20/CD-RB10 (sold separately) lets you
connect this unit to auxiliary equipment fea-
turing RCA output. For more details, refer to
the IP-BUS-RCA Interconnector owner
s man-
ual.

Selecting AUX as the source

Setting the AUX title
The title displayed for the
AUX
source can be
changed.
1 After you have selected AUX as the
source, use

and A.MENU to select
NAME EDIT in FUNCTION.
2 Press A.MENU to select the desired
character type.
Press
A.MENU
repeatedly to switch between
the following character types:
Alphabet (upper case), numbers and symbols
Alphabet (lower case)
European letters,
such as those with accents (e.g.,
á, à, ä, ç
)

You can select to input numbers and symbols
by pressing and holding
A.MENU
.
3 Press

to select a letter of the al-
phabet.
Each press of

will display a letter of the al-
