Listening to the iPod
You can control an iPod by combining the iPod
adapter (sold separately) to the navigation sys-
tem. For details concerning operation, refer to the
iPod’s owner’s manual. This section provides
information on iPod operations with the naviga-
tion system that differ from those described in
the iPod adapter owner’s manual.

(1) Source icon
Shows which source has been selected.
(2) Track number indicator
Shows the number of the track playing in the
selected list.
(3) Play time indicator
Shows the elapsed playing time of the current
track.
(4) Track title indicator
Shows the title of the current track.
(5) Play/pause indicator
Shows whether a track is being played or paused.
(6) Repeat play indicator
Shows whether Repeat is selected for the current
track or all tracks.
(7) Shuffle play indicator
Shows when Shuffle play is set.
(8) Song title, Artist name and Album title
indicator
When playing a track, the Song title, Artist name
or Album title is displayed. Press the
DISP
but-
ton repeatedly to switch these items.
(9) Play time bar
Shows the elapsed playing time and the remain-
ing time of the current track.

To skip backward or forward to another
track, touch

skips to the start of the next
track. Touching
once skips to the start of
the current track. Touching again will skip to
the previous track.
You can also skip backward or forward to
another track by moving the joystick left or right.

Pausing track playback
Pause lets you temporarily stop track playback.

Browsing for a song
The operations of this navigation system for con-
trolling an iPod is very similar to iPod operation.

Touch “TOP”.

If you do nothing about 30 seconds after
the step 1 to the step 4 is done, actual
screen returns to the previous screen.
