CAUTION!
Risk of material damage
Backplanes may only be inserted or removed when the supply voltage is
switched off.
Switch off the supply voltage before inserting or removing the backplane.
INFORMATION
Check whether shielded cable should be connected.
If shielding is required you will need a shield connection element (not sup-
plied with the device; see chapter entitled
Accessories [
19]
). The
shield connection element must be attached in the first installation step (see
Install shield connection element (optional) [
16]
).

General installation guidelines
NOTICE
Damage due to electrostatic discharge!
Electrostatic discharge can damage components. Ensure against discharge
before touching the product, e.g. by touching an earthed, conductive sur-
face or by wearing an earthed armband.
