Operation
When the supply voltage is switched on, the PNOZmulti safety system copies the configur-
ation from the chip card.
The LEDs “POWER”, “DIAG”, “FAULT”, “IFAULT” and “OFAULT” will light up on the base
unit.
The expansion module PNOZ mc5.1p is configured and started automatically.

The remote bus is switched on (remote bus enabled).

green
PCP transmission is active. Reaction period = 500 ms
PCP transmission is inactive.

yellow Warning for the fibre-optic cable at the IBS IN receiver.
Fibre-optic cable OK.
FO1
yellow Warning for the fibre-optic cable at the IBS OUT receiver.
Fibre-optic cable OK.
