5. Settings:

If more than four Navigators are to be operated at the same time, you will need a second

Receiver. To add a second Receiver, you will need to set a 4-way coding switch that is

located on the front of the right hand side of the Receiver. The wire Bus ID assignment will

take place automatically within the range of the preset Bus ID group. With the basic setting

(DIP3=OFF), IDs 28 – 25 are allocated. Navigator ID 1 equals 28 and Wireless ID 4 equals

25. If a second Receiver is added, the DIP switch of one of the receivers has to be set to

DIP 3 = ON

This will allocate ID numbers 20 - 17 to Navigator IDs 1 - 4. This way, two

Receivers can operate up to 8 Navigators. You can also operate a 2.4 GHz V2 Receiver

and a Receiver with 433 MHz or 915 MHz technology (#35012 / #35022) at the same

time. In this case you also need to select different Bus ID groups. If only one 2.4 GHz V2

RC receiver is operated with a maximum of four navigators, it can be operated using the

factory setting (all DIP switches OFF).

5.1 Type of wireless connection between the Receiver and the Navigator

(operating mode)

There are two operating modes available under LogIn 2.4 (menu folder in the

2.4 GHz V2 Navigator #35037):
•  STD: The Navigator will show STD (standard) on it’s display when you log in. In

normal operation, the Navigator number and the operating mode will be shown in

the top right display (e.g. “Navi 1s”). If a fifth throttle is added to the list of active

throttles, then the oldest, inactive throttle is automatically deleted from the list of

active throttles.

•  PRI: The Navigator shows PRI (priority) in it’s display during login. In normal

operation, the Navigator number and the operating mode will be shown in the top

right display (e.g. “Navi 1p”). Up to two Navigators can be logged in with this option.

Priority Navigators will not be deleted from the list of logged-in throttles even if the

list is full or a fifth throttle is added. If two Navigators are already logged in with PRI,

a third Navigator will automatically log in as STD.

•  DIR: This option is currently not available.
