before dialing
In case the modem should wait for a free line, you should set the
corresponding checkbox.

attempts
At number of retries you could configure the number of retries for a
connection before the call is stopped.

Redial after
Using a retry you could enter the seconds the application should wait
between calls.

2400, 4800, 9600, 19.2k, 38.4k, 57.6k and

Parity
The parity could be choosen, but this is modem
dependend
because some modems could not handle the parity
bit:
None: (There is no parity testing)
Odd: (The amount of bits set to 1 is odd)
Even: (The amount of bits set to 1 is even)
