3.2.6 Wheel
Assemble the wheel in accordance with Figure 1. Ensure that the hub sits on the stop in the
end of the dropout. Note the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the quick-release
clamp or the quick-release axle.

Maintenance intervals
The following maintenance intervals are to be followed.

Hub service for normal use

Hub service for extreme use (frequent rides in rain, mud,
snow, dirt)
As needed
Service if something is unusual (e.g. bearing play, spokes
or in the freewheel body)

Check the wheel for damage or irregularities
Before and after
every ride
Check the spoke tension, wear and true running of the
wheel
After 20 hours of use
Clean the wheel with a soft towel and suitable cleaning
fluid (no aggressive fluids or pressure washers)
After every ride
