Troubleshooting
The following table is designed to aid fault finding during operations it is not a
definitive index of faults and other faults not listed may be observed
Problem
Possible Causes
Suggested Actions
Pressure Leak
Nipped/ worn O-Ring
1. Identify from the leak which o-ring
is damaged.
2. Strip down and replace damaged
o-ring inspect other o-rings and
seal faces before re-assembly.
3. Ensure parts are aligned when
stabbing into seals
4. Pressure Test
Leaking Fittings
1. Tighten fitting to try and halt leak.
2. If still leaking remove fitting clean
with a wire brush and re-tape or
apply sealant. Make up fitting fully.
3. Replace saversub
Incorrect Assembly
1. Check that the assembly looks like
the assembly drawing view
2. Strip
down
and
re-assembly
exactly as the instructions suggest
3. If problem persists, consult Agent
for advise/ Training
Pressure Locking
(During assembly/testing)
(when pumping grease)
Incorrect Assembly
1. Check that internal pressure test
has been applied after assembly
2. Strip
down
and
investigate.
