Main Components and Operating Concept
•
The fuel pump delivers fuel to the combustion chamber.
•
The combustion air blower delivers air to the combustion chamber.
•
A glow pin is used to ignite the fuel-air mixture.
•
The heat from the flame is transferred through the heat exchanger while the exhaust
gases are expelled to the exterior of the vehicle.
•
The process air blower transfers air from the cabin, over the outside of the heat
exchanger and blows hot air into the cabin.
•
The heater automatically maintains the desired set temperature in the cabin by
regulating through multiple heat output modes.
