Phoenix PC-1280 USB Digital Camera User’s Guide
Revision 1.1
B.3 Mounting Mechanics
Two groups of mounting holes are provide on the bottom panel.
One with M2 screws, the other with M3 screws. A tripod adapter
may be used with the M2 screws to mount the PC-1280 on a tripod.
Figure B.3 shows the dimensions (in mm) for the mounting holes.

B.4 Lenses
Standard C-Mount lenses are required for the PC-1280 Camera.
CS-mount lenses may be used with an adapter. According to the C-
mount standard, the focal plane distance from the lens ring outer
surface to the sensor chip optical plane should be 17.52 mm. Some
consumer C-mount lenses may not follow this distance require-
ment, causing imperfect focusing if the lens is tightened. A C-
mount lens extender or a small ring of thickness about 0.5 mm
(0.02”)should solve this problem.
B.5 Power Consumption
The Phoenix PC-1280 Cameras are designed to take power from an
external DC power supply, which provides a DC within the voltage
range b5V and +12V. DC Power out of this range should
not be used. AC power supply can not be used with the PC-1280.
