Phoenix PC-1280 USB Digital Camera User’s Guide

 USB Cable

A Standard USB 2.0 High Speed Cable must be used for the PC-
1280 Camera. The maximum length is 15 ft. (5 meters). A 10 ft. 
USB 2.0 cable is provided with the PC-1280 Camera.

Camera Power

DC power input is required for the PC-1280 Camera. The power 
voltage can be b5V and +12V. The power input must be 
well regulated with ripples smaller than 2%, in order to reduce the 
video noise. If the user supplies the power adapter and signal cable, 
the Hirose Connector part number is HR10A-7P-4S. Please refer to 
Appendix B for the power rating requirements

Power Adapter

MuTech provides a DC regulated switching power supply (part 
number PC-1280-PWR, which should be ordered separately). If ex-
ternal control signals are required, the users can either make their 
own cable or order a custom cable from MuTech.
